Frequently Asked Questions Q1_ What do I need to use your service ? A1_ You need to have GlobalDosh™ account and have enough credit in your account. Visit http://www.globaldosh.com/to open a new account or Click on the "login" link on GlobalDosh Home page to credit your account. You must also have a valid e-mail address. Q2_ Where can I shop from ? A2_ You can shop from any webshop that is e-commerce enabled worldwide and trades in currencies that we support (We currently support UK£, US$, EC Euros, & GD). Q3_ How do I know the currency you currently support? A3_ When you are filling the price onto the form(i.e to submit details of your product), you will be required to choose the currency that the webshop display their prices in. If the currency displayed on the webshop is not displayed on the list, that means we do not support that currency. At present we support UK£, US$, EC Euros & GD. Q4_ How much will it cost me to use your service?
A4_ We charge
10% of the total transaction (including delivery and applicable
taxes)
Q5_ How soon will my goods be delivered? A5_ Check the webshop that you intend to buy from for their delivery times. Add additional two to three days to the published time. Note that there is no guarantees as this will depend on the internal package delivery in your country. If the webshop delivers by special or express delivery, you may want to indicate this on our web product form. Q6_ How soon will my GlobalDosh™ account be debited? A6_ Although, the transaction is instantaneous after you have clicked the GDpay button and your transaction is deemed to be successful. You can check your account details immediately at http://www.globaldosh.com/. We are currently using a system now whereby you will have to transfer into our GlobalDosh Merchant account number 1213 on GlobalDosh website. Q7_ Are there any restriction to sites I can buy from? A7_No you can shop anywhere worldwide as long as delivery is effected by the website to where you want your goods shipped to and the service is not on-line content viewing. We reserve the right however, not to honour a transaction in a shop that we deem is fraudulent or has a reputation for non-reliability. If your GD account has been debited, we shall inform you by e-mail and refund the amount debited into your GD account. The currency on the site must also be supported by us. See the currency we currently support on the product form’s price drop down. Q8_What happens if the shop runs out of the goods and my GD account is already debited?
A8_You will be
informed by e-mail and given the choice to either purchase from another
webshop or for the funds to be refunded into your GD
account.
A9_ We can also make a
one-off on-line payments like subscriptions, exam fees etc as long as the
payment can be done on-line. A10_ Immediately after your transaction is successful, an invoice will be issued to you by e-mail with your unique order number and transaction number. You will receive another e-mail when your order has been despatched. Finally another e-mail will be sent to you when your order has reached your country of residence (Collection Point) Q11_ Are all orders delivered by my local postal system? A11_ Yes under normal circumstances. If you have chosen an alternative method, this method e.g UPS or DHL will be the method of delivery. Note that your goods may be delivered to a collection point if delivery is not entirely reliable in your country of residence. Q12_ Can someone else purchase on my behalf? A12_ Yes. As long as the person have a GD account and enough credit in their account. They must however put your name on the product form and your address as the delivery address. Q13_ Can I purchase and send a gift to someone else? A13_ Yes. As long as you have a GD account and enough credit in your account. You must however put the person’s name on the product form and their address as the delivery address. Q14_ How do I fill the web-shop’s URL onto the product form? A14_ You can either type the URL onto the form directly or click the “browse” button on the product form to open a new browser window. You can then navigate to the site you want to shop from. Highlight the URL by holding down the left mouse button and dragging it over the text and then “right click” and click “copy”. Return to the window of our product form and “right click” and click paste to insert the copied URL. Follow the procedure for each text that you intend to copy from the webshop. See Tips Q15_ Can I buy from different website at the same time? A15_ You can buy from different website, but because of technological barrier you must complete a transaction with a webshop before buying from another site. That means a product form can only be used for one URL i.e one website at a time. Q16_ Is there a limit on value of goods I can purchase? A16_ No. You will however need to get your GlobalDosh™ purse/account limit increased as the default setting on GlobalDosh™ system is £100.00 or GD10000. Q17_ How do I increase my purse/account limit on GlobalDosh™ ? A17_ You can apply for purse/account limit increase by e-mailing system@GlobalDosh.com with your account number and amount you want the account increased to. Q18_ Will the new limit be permanent? A18_ No. You will be informed by GlobalDosh™ on the period for which the new account limit will be maintained for. Q19_ What happens if I mistakenly entered wrong delivery address or name on the product form? A19_ You must be very careful in entering your details on the product form. These information cannot be changed once the transaction has gone through and you are entirely responsible for such mistakes. A20_ What happens if I mistakenly enter the wrong price/tax/delivery? A20_ You must be very careful when entering the details from the webshop. It is advisable to browse the webshop thoroughly and get all information required before filling the poduct form. You must always ensure that you enter the correct price of the goods, taxes, delivery and any applicable costs or your order will not be processed. Q21_ What will happen if my order is not processed because of wrongprice/tax/delivery? A21_ You will be informed by e-mail and be given the opportunity to top-up the difference in the price. Q22_ How do I know the collection point closest to me? A22_ You can check our home page to know the collection point closest to you Q23_What do I need to collect my goods at the collection point? A23_You will need a copy of the invoice that was e-mailed to you and one further forms of identification e.g driver's licence, passport, GD Membership Card etc . |
